Description
Olive net is a type of net used in the harvesting of olives from trees. It is designed to be spread out underneath an olive tree to catch the falling olives.

How it works
- Spread out the olive net on the ground around the tree.
- make sure it flat and level, and secure it to the ground by stakes or weights.
- Using a hand-held rake or a special harvesting tool, gently shake the branches of the olive tree to make the olives fall.
- when all the olives have fallen onto the net, gather up the corners of the net and carefully lift it up. Transfer the olives from the net into a collection bin or basket.
- Move the net to another area beneath the tree and repeat the process until you have harvested all the olives.
- After use, clean the net by removing any debris or leaves that may have fallen onto it. Store the net in a dry, cool place until the next harvest season.
Types of olive net

This is another structure for choose. the mesh shape is grid, the mesh size is very small, about 4-5mm.

The olive net was produced by many steps, including the extrusion, weaving, cutting, sewing and packing.
Raw material
The raw material of olive net is HDPE. To make the nets more durable, we will add the UV into the materials.
Extrusion
The thread will be extruded by the extrusion machines. All the olive net is made from mono thread.
weaving
The threads will be woven into different struction by raschel knitted machines.
Sewing
The olive net is produced by piece. the nets are cut in rectangle or square, and then the edges around will be sewed.
packing
The olive net will be folded by hand, it will be put into a plastic bag with the lable inside.
shipping
Several pieces of olive nets will be packed together in a big plastic bag with ship mark outside.
How to choose the nets
To make sure the olive net will be accepted and hot sale in your market, there are several factors you should consider.
Material
- HDPE - all the olive net is made of HDPE. Most of olive net is made of 100% virgin HDPE, and some olive net is made of recycled HDPE.
- UV - To make the olive net more durable, we could add the UV into the raw materials during extrusion.
- Color master - The color master should be better if you need longer service time.
The quality of olive nets depends on the quality of HDPE, UV, color master and other additives.
The warranty time of normal quality is 3 years. the quality is good enough, and the cost is also affoldable.

Edge Sewing & corner
There are several types of sewing and corners for you to choose.
The warp edge will be reinforced and the weft edge will be sewed with webbing. There will be an extra piece of webbing left in the corner.

Off course, some clients also prefer the olive net packed by roll, it is similar with the shade net. they could cut and sewed them by themselves.

The width is about 5-6m, the length is about 8-12m. it depends on the size of your olive trees.
